Telemegle works because strangers treat each other decently. These rules are short on purpose. Breaking them costs you access.
Telemegle is for adults. You must be 18 or older to use it. Accounts found to belong to minors are removed permanently.
No explicit messages, no requests for them, no sexual pressure of any kind — regardless of whether the other person seems willing.
No insults, threats, intimidation, or hate directed at anyone — including on the basis of race, religion, nationality, gender, sexuality or disability.
Links, @handles, phone numbers and email addresses are blocked automatically. Moving people off Telemegle is how scams and harassment start.
No advertising, promotion, referral links, investment pitches, or requests for money.
Any sexual content involving a minor, or any attempt to contact one, is reported to the relevant authorities and results in an immediate permanent ban. There are no warnings and no appeals for this.
No content or conduct that is unlawful where you are, or where we operate.
Every chat has a report button in the top corner. Using it ends the conversation and sends it to a moderator, along with the messages exchanged, so it can be reviewed. Please use it — it’s the main way we find people who shouldn’t be here.
Depending on what happened and whether it’s repeated, we may warn you, suspend your access temporarily, or remove it permanently. We may also block messages, end chats automatically, and — where the law requires it — report conduct to the authorities.
