These Terms govern your use of Telemegle (the “Service”), an anonymous one-to-one text chat that runs as a Mini App inside Telegram. By opening Telemegle you agree to them. If you don’t agree, don’t use it.
You must be 18 years or older. By using the Service you confirm that you are. Telemegle is not designed for, or directed at, children. If we believe an account belongs to someone under 18, we remove it.
You must also not be barred from using the Service under any applicable law, and must not have been previously removed for breaking these Terms.
Telemegle pairs you with one other party at a time for a private text conversation. You are identified only by a nickname. There are no profiles, no photos and no follower relationships. Either side can end a conversation at any time.
The Service is provided free of charge. We may introduce paid features in the future; if we do, they will be described before you pay for anything.
You agree to follow the Community Rules, which form part of these Terms. In particular you must not:
To keep the Service responsive, to test and improve matching and safety, and to support quality of service, some conversations may involve automated accounts or automated conversational features rather than another person. Automated features are not permitted to produce sexual content and are subject to the same safety rules.
You should therefore not assume that any particular conversation is with a specific person, and you should never share sensitive personal information in a chat.
We operate automated filters (for example blocking links and contact details) and review reports submitted through the in-chat report button. Where a chat is reported, the messages exchanged in it are retained so a moderator can review them.
We may, at our discretion and without prior notice, end a conversation, block a message, warn you, suspend your access temporarily, or remove your access permanently — where we consider it necessary to enforce these Terms, protect other users, or comply with the law. Where the law requires it, we may also report conduct to the relevant authorities.
You keep ownership of what you write. You grant us only the limited permission needed to transmit your messages to the person you’re chatting with, and to store and review them where required for moderation and safety as described in the Privacy Policy.
You are responsible for what you send. Do not send anything you do not have the right to send.
Telemegle is an independent service. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by Telegram. Your use of Telegram itself is governed by Telegram’s own terms and privacy policy.
We aim to keep the Service running but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. We may change, suspend or discontinue any part of it at any time. We may also update these Terms; where changes are material we will make reasonable efforts to signal them, and continued use after they take effect means you accept them.
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not control what other users say or do, and we do not warrant that the Service will be free of offensive content or that moderation will catch everything.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, nor for loss of data, profits, goodwill or opportunity, arising from or relating to your use of the Service. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited — including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims, damages, losses and reasonable costs arising from your breach of these Terms or your misuse of the Service.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the country in which the operator of Telemegle is established, and the courts of that country have exclusive jurisdiction, except where mandatory consumer-protection law in your country of residence gives you the right to bring proceedings locally.
